Join me at our table with other SWFL tango friends at the "Milonga Ideal" in Hallandale on Sunday, January 17, where all the Miami area tango professionals pictured in the poster above will perform, and you'll enjoy a well-established milonga, where people of all ages and levels of tango come together to dance Argentine Tango. The $30 ticket includes the milonga, show, buffet, and most importantly a contribution to the Shimmy Club, the non-profit organization whose "You Touch Me Tango" program teaches Argentine Tango to blind and visually impaired teens and adults.
Hallandale's about a 1 hr, 40 min drive from Naples. Overnight hospitality is being arranged, both in the local Best Western and in homes of tango friends in the area.
